Fractional Laser Resurfacing

Advanced laser resurfacing that improves texture, scars, pigmentation, and visible signs of aging.

What is fractional laser resurfacing?

If you’ve started noticing fine lines, sun damage, acne scarring, or uneven skin texture, fractional laser resurfacing is one of the most effective treatments available for improving both skin texture and tone.

At Nüd Sugaring + Laser Studio in Leduc, we use advanced ablative fractional laser technology to resurface the skin and stimulate natural collagen production, helping improve visible signs of aging, scarring, and pigmentation.

During treatment, the laser creates thousands of microscopic channels within the skin. These precise micro-injuries trigger the body’s natural healing response, stimulating fresh collagen production and accelerating cellular renewal.

Over the following weeks, the skin gradually becomes smoother, firmer, and more even in tone as collagen continues to remodel beneath the surface.

What can fractional laser resurfacing improve?

Fractional laser resurfacing works both on the surface of the skin and within the deeper layers where collagen forms, allowing it to improve concerns related to texture, tone, and firmness.

Designed for isolated surgical or injury-related scars not listed in our other treatment areas.

Pricing will be determined during your consultation based on the size the scar.

What to expect after treatment

Redness and swelling are normal for the first few days after treatment. As the skin renews itself, you may notice a sandpaper-like texture followed by light crusting and peeling over approximately 5 to 7 days.

Results continue to improve in the weeks following treatment as collagen rebuilds and the skin becomes smoother, firmer, and more even in tone.

For optimal results, a series of 2 to 4 treatments spaced approximately 6 to 8 weeks apart is often recommended depending on your skin concerns.

Is fractional laser resurfacing right for me?

Fractional laser resurfacing is ideal for clients who want noticeable improvement in their skin's texture, tone, and firmness without surgery.

This treatment may be a great option if you are experiencing:

• Fine lines or early signs of aging
• Acne scarring or uneven skin texture
• Sun damage or pigmentation concerns
• Enlarged pores
• Mild skin laxity
• Stretch marks or surgical scars
• Crepey skin around the eyes, neck, or chest

Because fractional resurfacing stimulates collagen production and skin remodeling, results continue to improve in the weeks and months following treatment.

During your consultation, we will assess your skin, discuss your goals, and determine the most appropriate treatment plan for you.
