Studio Policies
We want every visit at Nüd Sugaring + Laser Studio to feel comfortable and stress-free. Our goal is to provide an exceptional experience in a judgment-free, body-positive space. To keep things running smoothly and ensure fairness for everyone, we’ve put together some simple policies. Payment Information
We accept cash, credit, and debit payments.
Parking
Free parking is available in the lot directly in front of the studio for your convenience.
Cancellations + No Shows
We understand that life happens, and sometimes you may need to reschedule your appointment. To ensure we can accommodate all of our clients, we kindly ask for at least 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule.
Late Cancellations: If an appointment is canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled time, a fee of 50% of the total cost of the booked services may apply.
No-Shows: If you don’t show up for your appointment without prior notice, you will be subject to a fee of 100% of the total cost of the booked services.
Complimentary Consultations: While consultations are free, we reserve time just for you! A $25 fee will apply for late cancellations or no-shows for these appointments.
Late Arrivals
We do our best to accommodate late arrivals, but if you arrive more than 5 minutes late (for any service), we may not be able to proceed with your service as scheduled due to our time slots and high volume of appointments. In this case:
If possible, we will offer to reschedule you with another technician.
If we cannot accommodate your late arrival, it will be considered a no-show, and the full fee may apply.
Booking Multiple Services
If you’d like to book multiple services, please schedule them directly in our booking system or by calling/texting us directly. We are unable to add additional services that have been mentioned in the notes section of online booking, nor can we add on services to your appointment upon arrival, unless previously booked.
Gift Cards
Gift cards never expire unless an expiration date is stated directly on the card, and can be used for both services and products. Gift cards are non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Zero Tolerance Policy
We are proud to provide a welcoming, inclusive, and judgment-free space for everyone. We do not tolerate:
Harassment or bullying
Discrimination of any kind
Violence, intimidation, or disruptive behaviour
Nüd Sugaring + Laser Studio is a safe space for all races, gender expressions, sexual orientations, religions, and abilities. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who violates this policy to protect the well-being of our clients and team.
Pricing
All prices listed on our website and booking system do not include tax, and are subject to change at any time. Pricing is based on the service provided and does not change based on hair density or amount of hair.
Child Policy
We love welcoming little ones into our studio! Children are welcome to accompany you to your appointment as long as they are able to remain safely in a carrier or sit independently during your service without disruption.

Service Satisfaction Guarantee
Your happiness is our priority! We strive to provide high-quality services and want you to love your results. If you have any concerns about your service, please contact us within 48 hours of your appointment, and we’ll be happy to discuss a solution.
Our goal is to make things right, which may include a touch-up or adjustment if needed. Refunds are not issued for services, but we will always do our best to ensure you leave feeling confident and cared for.
Retail Product Returns
Opened products are non-refundable for hygiene and safety reasons. Unopened and unused products may be exchanged within 14 days of purchase for store credit or a product of equal value.
Service Packages Refunds
All sales of our service packages are final, and we do not issue cash or credit card refunds. Under certain circumstances, at our sole discretion, we may provide store credit that can be applied toward other services. If you have any questions about which package best suits your needs, please contact us—we’re happy to help!
Age Requirement Policy
At Nüd Sugaring + Laser Studio, we are committed to providing safe, professional, and age-appropriate services for every client. To ensure the highest standard of care and compliance with our insurance policy, the following age requirements apply.
Clients aged 12 to 17 are welcome to receive select services with parental or guardian consent. A parent or legal guardian must provide written consent before any service begins and be present at the first appointment to review aftercare and address any questions. Eligible services for this age group include body sugaring hair removal and facial and body skincare treatments, such as vajacials, bum facials, skin lightening, chemical peels, and intimate peels. These services are gentle, non-invasive, and focus on surface-level exfoliation, hydration, and overall skin health.
Clients must be 18 years of age or older to receive any advanced or device-based treatments. Services restricted to ages 18+ include laser hair removal, IPL skin rejuvenation/photo facials, laser tattoo removal, radio frequency body contouring, fractional laser treatments, and electrolysis. These services involve advanced technology, electrical current, or energy-based devices that require clients to be of legal age to provide informed consent.
Government-issued photo ID may be required for age verification. Nüd Sugaring + Laser Studio reserves the right to refuse service if proper consent is not obtained or if a treatment is deemed unsuitable based on age, skin condition, or level of maturity.
Service Restrictions
Medication such as Retin-A, Isoretionin (Accutane), or other acne medications weaken the skin and may cause it to tear. If you are on any of these medications, please consult with your doctor first before coming to see us for hair removal or skincare services.
During your first sugaring appointment, you may find some discomfort. To help ease the discomfort, we suggest taking Tylenol or Advil to alleviate some of that pain. If during your appointment, you reach the pain point of crying, we will not be able to continue with the service(s).
If you have a history of herpes simplex or have viral infections in the area being treated, you will need to take a prescription anti-viral medication to prevent an outbreak. This medication should start 3 days prior to the procedure and continue 5 days post care.
We do NOT treat area's with open lesions or wounds.
Staff Communication Policy
To ensure your appointments and questions are handled promptly and accurately, we kindly ask that all communication regarding scheduling, services, and treatments be directed through Nüd Sugaring + Laser Studio directly—either by phone, email, or our online booking system.
Please refrain from messaging our team members on their personal accounts or outside of studio hours regarding appointments or services. Our staff do not have access to the booking system outside of work and are not compensated for client communication during personal time.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in helping us maintain healthy boundaries for our team and ensuring all communication is properly documented and responded to in a timely manner.

Multiple Appointment Bookings Policy
To keep our schedule fair and accessible for everyone, we ask that clients only book one appointment per service at a time. Holding multiple time slots for the same service (for example, booking several brazilian sugaring appointments within a few days or weeks “just in case”) limits availability for others and disrupts our booking flow.
If you’re unsure which date works best, please reach out and we’ll be happy to help you find the right spot — but we’re unable to keep multiple appointments booked for the same service under one name.
