Chemical Peels Pre-Care
✓ Discontinue Active Skincare Ingredients. Avoid using retinol, retinoids, AHAs, BHAs, benzoyl peroxide, and exfoliating treatments for at least 7 days before your peel.
✓ Avoid Sun Exposure + Tanning. Limit sun exposure at least 2 weeks before your appointment. Do not use tanning beds or self-tanners on the treatment area.
✓ Hydrate & Moisturize. Keep your skin hydrated by drinking plenty of water and applying a gentle, fragrance-free moisturizer daily.
✓ No Facial Waxing, Sugaring, or Threading. Avoid hair removal treatments on the treatment area for at least 48 hours before your peel.
✓ Pause Certain Treatments. If you've had laser treatments, microneedling, or injectable treatments (Botox, fillers, etc.), wait at least 2 weeks before receiving a chemical peel.
✓ Avoid Excessive Heat & Sweat. Refrain from hot showers, saunas, steam rooms, and intense workouts for 24 hours before your appointment.
